Course Description

Are you new to D-SLR photography? Are you unsure how to use the various settings and controls on a D-SLR camera?  Then join us for this full day workshop, where we'll look at how to get the most out of your camera.  You'll learn about shutters, apertures, exposures, using different lenses and zoom settings, composition, lighting, and more. Part of this class will be outside, where we'll practise in the woods and meadows of The Arboretum, so dress for the weather.  Bring your camera, extra batteries, warm gloves, and be ready for a fun day of photography.  Inclement weather date: n/a. Guest Instructor: Sylvia Galbraith.
