Course Description

Join photographer Sylvia Galbraith for an evening of fun in this hands-on field trip. This course is timed to take advantage of the (almost) full moon - the first hour will be spent inside, for a lesson on shooting in low light - we'll cover using timed exposures and night settings, composition, equipment, shooting city lights & more. Then it's out to the meadows of the Arboretum to photograph the setting sun, and night photography by the light of the moon. We'll also try some fun flash effects. This course requires a tripod for best results, and is suitable for all skill levels. Bring a flashlight, and dress for the weather. Rain date is Friday, June 9. Guest Instructor: Sylvia Galbraith.
