Course Description

This program will help you refine your skills at identifying trees in Ontario. The focus will be on learning important identification characteristics.  Difficult groups such as the cherry, oak and walnut families as well as the easier groups such as ash and maple will be explored.  The afternoon will be spent outside, identifying trees in the forest as well as young cultivated trees with their Eurasian counterparts in the World of Trees collection.  Bring your field guide and binoculars.
