Course Description

Delve into the relationship between diet and disease and the role of a plant-based diet in disease prevention. Learn to apply nutrition science to understand how food can be used to manage and prevent non-communicable and neurodegenerative diseases.

Assessment

Each week you will engage in a discussion question that examines evidence-based research and apply what you are learning to diets. The course concludes with a project-based assignment that assists you in the implementation of a plant-based diet.
