Course Description

This course covers common procedure techniques including oral dosing, restraint, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, blood collection, diagnostic sampling methods, and humane euthanasia based on participant needs. Instruction of the specific procedures will be targeted to participants current projects. Participants must be named on an Animal Utilization Protocol (AUP) to perform these procedures and to participate in the hands-on session.
Participants are provided online Courselink material, which will be accessible after 24 hours of registration. This material must be reviewed prior to attending this session so that the participant is prepared to take a short quiz or to be evaluated at the time of the session.
 

Additional Requirements

- We kindly ask you to thoroughly answer the questionary during the registration for this course.
- Please ensure you have completed or started the compulsory online course “Core Modules, Animal Care”. This course is a prerequisite for being listed on the Animal Utilization Protocol (AUP).
- Familiarize with online reading material, which you will find on your CourseLink webpage after 24 hours of registration.
