Course Description

Many supervisors have responsibilities for managing people. While each organization operationalizes these responsibilities contextually, there are common concepts and tasks that can provide you with a foundation for success now and in the future. The employee lifecycle model outlines every employee's journey at your organization—from recruitment to orientation and onboarding to development and retention to offboarding and separation. This course will focus on the manager’s role at each stage of the lifecycle so that you can confidently supervise and manage people and mitigate risks and costs to your organization. By better understanding the employee lifecycle, you can continuously improve each stage, attracting the right talent, optimizing the employee experience, and improving productivity and performance.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will earn a digital badge.
